all the other personality types have all sorts of topics in their tribes. i guess we're focused on everyone else. we need some interesting discussion here. we are idealists so we also need to be more positive about our tribe. lets branch out of our obsessions with everyone else and have some healthy discussion about us for once.
anyone with me on this?

accepting the judging side
Sat, March 17, 2007 - 3:53 AMsure - I find the j aspect very challenging at times. much of my judgement seems negative and i am consciously trying to tell myself its ok to observe without attaching a moral value to it. does anyone else find themselves superior in this way?
i can judge myself just as critically ;-) -

Re: accepting the judging side
Sat, March 17, 2007 - 7:39 AMWho says we're obsessed with others or judgmental?
Decisive, judging yes.
You know, ENFJs make the best teachers, salespeople,
psychologists... we schmooze, we like people, we're
gregarious, we care about others and we get things done! -

Re: accepting the judging side
Sun, March 18, 2007 - 12:35 AMI didn't say i was obsessed.
Just that i notice i am unable to stop the judgement.
i love being around people, i think i'm very empathetic and a great networker - i remember details and people's names etc.. it's those nanosecond thoughts that pop into my head as i am observing or first meeting people that i was referencing, kitty wanted us to start a dialogue going ;-) -

Re: accepting the judging side
Sun, March 18, 2007 - 3:19 AMI totally hear you. i am hard on others and even harder on myself. everything always goes back to how it relates to my values and standards. I've met others like myself and found many of them to be annoying as well as other things.
on the upside. i am very good at helping people with the same values as myself with good advice. which is only a good thing when the recipient wants to hear advice.
I nurture the hell out of people i care about whether they like it or not. it's wanted and received well at least a third of the time. i call that good odds.
when i'm not being hard on myself i see doing things right one third of the time(when it comes to other people) as the best that most humans can do if they are actually trying. -

Re: accepting the judging side
Sun, March 18, 2007 - 7:27 AMWell I'm demanding and opinionated,
but I account for that by being an X
type-- scoring equally on thinking
and feeling.

Re: we need some change here
Sat, March 31, 2007 - 2:29 PMsure.
where to start.
i think it is amusing that idealists don't have a lot to post.
i think it means that we are much more in touch with things. i don't think it's bad.
