We've been together for almost a year and it's been non-stop fighting. I took the test a few weeks ago and had suspisions about our compatibility. No wonder.

Re: boyfriend just took the test and it wasn't a surprise - ENFP :(
Thu, February 22, 2007 - 10:29 AMI am an ENFP.
Why is there so much conflict? I like people that can make judgements and plan shit.
I would love to have a partnern that can be organized and thoughtfull and have their lives together.
Also dont ENFJ's make great therapists?
I have never met an ENFJ man, so Im not sure if we would Kill eachother, but I guess the potential is there.
Why does everyone talk about ENFP-ENFJ being such a horrendious match? -

Thu, February 22, 2007 - 11:11 AMPs and Js tend not to get along very well.
Js generally experience Ps as flakes.
ENFJ's make good teachers, ENTJs make good salespeople
as well as good executives. Teachers can easily become salespeople
and vice-versa. But people who make decisions easily and stick with them
seem to be very different from people who don't. -

Thu, February 22, 2007 - 4:03 PM... I do experience the one person I know as ENFP as a total flake. I don't believe a single thing about him including his sexuality, desires, anything really...
however, I really *really* like him. -

Thu, February 22, 2007 - 6:51 PMOh yea, they're totally likable.
They just tend to drive us nuts
with their inability to decide/
settle on anything!

Re: boyfriend just took the test and it wasn't a surprise - ENFP :(
Fri, February 23, 2007 - 7:25 AMENFP - ENFJ is a high energy combo where both ENFJ & ENFP like to talk more than listen. However, ENFJ's are playful and socially adept and going out and having fun isn't a problem. Hence, I see the ENFJ and ENFP as activity partners more than intimates.
On the other hand, I think ENFJ - INFP could pair well, given the INFP is willing to be outgoing now & then.
Also, INFJ - ENFP pairs very nicely so long as each person appreciates how the other person functions and can be understanding (true of any relationship). Of course in this I am biased (an INFJ) since I have had many ENFP best friends both men & women, some with romantic interest and many platonic. -

Re: boyfriend just took the test and it wasn't a surprise - ENFP :(
Fri, February 23, 2007 - 1:58 PMHey--- Im ENFP and I'm not a flake, I resent that.
Frusterated ENFJ's need to encourage their ENFP mates to get on some prozac, or adderall to help them focus, and if that doesnt work lighten up and save the counseling for someone who will actually listen. -

Re: boyfriend just took the test and it wasn't a surprise - ENFP :(
Sat, February 24, 2007 - 12:46 AMhe wants me to listen to every thought and feeling he has without judging. i wish he'd go to therapy because he has a lot of the same issues that i do. he insists on solving his own problems.
when i talk about my weaknesses and problems he'll interrupt me with a story on how he handles a similar situation extremely well. he never talks negative about himself either.
he wont make negative conclusions about people and often gets really offended on the way i describe people. he thinks i dont like them when i'm really getting to the bottom line instead of just perceiving as he does.
and a bunch of other stuff. i'll go more into it later.
